Cause & effect timelines
An interactive timeline of each period’s events. Pick an event to see why it happened and what it led to, then follow the links from cause to effect to walk a whole causation chain across the period.
How to use it
- Filter by topic or scroll the timeline, and click an event.
- Read “Why it happened” and “What it led to.” Click Trace back to or Follow to to jump along the chain; your path shows at the top.
- Turn on Self-test mode to hide causes and effects. Say them out loud, then tap to reveal.
- Press Mark as mastered once you know an event cold. Use ← and → to move through events.
Read the “On the exam” note on each event: it tells you how the event tends to be tested.
